I'm behind on anime as usual but what made me disappear for a while is cause I've had major problems with my PC and had to get it fix. Also getting it back I just didn't bother getting online with it, + the fact I was binging some stuff on Netflix since it I get it on my TV's apps.

I do wonder, you're not allowed to dye/bleach your hair in strict schools but if you're naturally blond they tell you to dye it black? So then suddenly its okay to dye? Then its not about the dying that is the problem as I was told but the fact they want the students to look uniform right? But whats the point of that? Sense of community? And those not conforming are bad? I can't believe such a mindset would still exist in a developped and modern country as Japan. Yet sone are weirdly stubborn and cling on to certain old ideologies....

yes it is! I have been living in Japan for 3 years now and I have blond hair. A lot of my Japanese friends were always calling me ヤンキー(yankee) meaning delinquent just because of that haha

The translation just wasn't accurate, it should say Dye your hair back, or something like that, he thinks zenitsu dyed his hair,. Also, you cant bleach your hair in japan because standing out is i dont know if frowned upon but not recommended i'd say.

Japan is not what you see in anime. Standing out in Japan is one of the worst thing in japan that you can do to yourself. If you doubt me, you can do some googling and stuff yourself.

its more of a thing about being equal and the same as others. rather than not being able to dye your hair.

Tbf, according to the Kimetsu Academy extra pages and LN chapters, some of their students and staff ARE demons from the regular Kimetsu. For example Ume/Daki and her older brother Gyutaro are delinquent students. And she's one of the Academy's 3 Beauties.
